Please join us this Saturday, August 11th for an amazing seminar on food sensitivities in your breastfed baby!

    Register at www.birthsanctuary.com

Are you wondering if what you’re eating could be affecting your baby? Have you been advised to change your diet for your nursling? Have you already started an elimination diet, but are looking for some guidance on where to go next? This seminar draws on years of collective experience of moms who have successfully addressed food reactions in their babies by modifying their diet while nursing, and who along the way have learned to enjoy food in whole new ways! Learn about issues that may be symptoms of food reactions, how to determine your personal suspect list, and how to adapt to a new diet without losing out on nutrition or the pleasures of a good meal.

This event is a fundraiser for La Leche League in honor of World Breastfeeding Week. $20 per person. Families encouraged to come. Children can attend for free. If you have a financial hardship and want to attend, please email Nicole (nicole@the-womb.org) and we will work something out. No one will be turned away!

    Event Location:

The Sanctuary Birth & Family Wellness Center 11965 Venice Blvd., Suite 310, Los Angeles, CA 90066

Our speaker is Monica Waggoner, a La Leche League mom and an eight-year veteran of the mom trade, who first discovered in 2005 that her nine-month-old baby was a happier, healthier human being when she didn’t eat wheat. She founded the Foodlab Yahoo Group to create a place where people could share their discoveries of new recipes, foods that they need to avoid, and a whole new world of health and well-being. Having grown a community of over 1,400 people, most of whom are (or were) nursing moms of food-reactive children, Monica has continued to learn and contribute her knowledge of how to identify food reactions and avoid foods without losing out on tasty treats.
